Toshiba Portege Z30 is a 13-inch business-oriented Ultrabook. That makes you slim profile and light body of an Ultrabook, but with the security features and office-friendly extras you would expect from a business laptop. Toshiba Portege Z30 has a design specification of the Ultrabook. It was only 1.2kg weight and 17.9mm thick. It can safely brag about portability without being called out.
Toshiba Portege Z30 is made from magnesium alloy that is very lightweight and tough, but do not have a cold, clear shades of metallic aluminum. You might mistake it for plastic at first touch, but it was much more powerful and lighter than that. What you get in exchange for the appearance are practical business features such as a SmartCard reader, fingerprint scanner and a matt-finish display.
Toshiba Portege Z30 will be sold in a fairly wide variety of spec variants. All will use Intel chips Haswell generation, ranging from Intel Core i3 to i7 CPU top-end. The Z30 uses Intel HD 4400 GPU. Storage maxes out at 512GB SSD-form - if you want a more traditional hard drive you have to choose one of the Z-series laptop larger screen. RAM goes all the way up to 16GB, 8GB using two sticks.
